Yes, I know. You’re about to tell me there isn’t any such word as “neurodragoneering”. And you’d be correct.

It’s a word I, admittedly, invented; a blend of Neurodiversity and Dungeons & Dragons. Neurodragoneering embodies two of my greatest passions. The first is how our brain works and the second is tabletop roleplaying games, specifically DnD.

If you’re fascinated by all things brainy and enjoy engaging with others who also enjoy social interaction in a safe, challenging game setting then joining one of our adventures just may be what you’ve been looking for.

The information below will give you an overview of what neurodragoneering is about and how you can get involved. At the end is an information request form; the first step on your adventuring journey.

What Is A Neurodragoneer?

The Brain Energy Support Team is committed to offering creative, immersive, respectful, and inclusive experiences for our members and families. The title is our way of honoring our community of neuro-atypical persons. A Neurodragoneer is either a neurodivergent dungeon diver or an ally.

Why Dungeons & Dragons?

DnD is a cooperative, storytelling game that combines imagination, strategy, and luck. You and other players take on the roles of different characters within a story. As you play, your character will make friends and enemies, fight monsters, discover loot, and complete quests. While the goal of many games is to score the most points or win, the ultimate goal of D&D is to tell a story.

Dungeons & Dragons is the longest running tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG). We have many years of experience playing the game and hosting D&D in a variety of settings.
